I missed the campaign! Can I still get Chaosmos?

Yes! You can order your copy of Chaosmos on our website here: http://mirrorboxgames.com/buy.html Last updated: Sun, Feb 2 2014 5:22 pm EST

How do I purchase an Add-On or pay for shipping?

All you need to do is increase your pledge amount. Click “Manage Your Pledge” at the top of this page, and then increase your pledge by the amount of the shipping and/or add-ons you’re purchasing. Kickstarter doesn’t have an interface for add-ons or shipping yet, but they do allow us to send out a survey after the campaign ends to find out which items you’ve purchased. How do I play with a fifth player?

Chaosmos is designed to play best with 2–4 players, but if you want to play with a fifth, you can pledge at the Master of the New Universe tier or get the extra equipment deck add-on. The Master of the New Universe comes with six limited edition bonus cards for the fifth player. The Equipment deck add-on includes all 70 of the cards in the base game, which you can use to add duplicates of your choice and play with a fifth player. Last updated: Sun, Jan 12 2014 1:50 pm EST

Is Norway included in the $10 shipping level?

Unfortunately, no. Since Norway is not part of the European Union, our shipping costs are much higher. Last updated: Sun, Jan 12 2014 1:50 pm EST

What is the Chaos Clock made out of?

The Chaos Clock will be made from three separate layers of thick cardboard, punched out and assembled with a rivet. This adds plenty of heft to it, and allows the clock to be rotated freely. The final product will work similarly to the battle dials in REX, but will be thicker due to the third layer. Last updated: Sun, Jan 12 2014 7:20 pm EST

Will Chaosmos be translated into other languages?

Yes! Some of our generous supporters are already working on translations to German, French, and Dutch. PDF versions of the rulebook and card lists will be available for our release. If you’re interested in proofreading translations or in helping us translate into a new language, please send us a message. Last updated: Fri, Jan 17 2014 12:37 pm EST

How big will the modular board hexes be?

Our hexes will be very large – 5 inches across! For comparison, Settlers of Catan hexes are about 3 inches across, and Twilight Imperium hexes are 4 inches across. Last updated: Sat, Jan 25 2014 12:53 pm EST

Why are you changing the board so much with a stretch goal?

We love the original board for Chaosmos, but the modular board has so many benefits it’s just a much better way to play. With the modular board, you’ll be able to: - Customize the arrangement and layout of the board for infinite replayability - Easily store the board and take it with you on the go - Match the original board configuration perfectly, allowing quick and easy setup - Reduce or increase the number of planets based on the number of players - Add new planets and aliens to the board when expansions are released Last updated: Sat, Jan 18 2014 12:39 pm EST

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
